Breakfast

As the most important meal of the day, breakfast does not have to be intimidating or time-consuming.
Here are some excellent, simple and satisfying breakfasts that you can whip up in minutes.

  • Nut butter, banana and chia seed whole grain toast
  • Berry and yogurt smoothie with coconut water, milk and 100% juice
  • Savory oatmeal with an egg on top with a sprinkle of cheese
  • Quinoa fruit salad with a splash of honey, lime and basil

Lunch

Herbed Cheese and Tomato Sandwich

1 whole grain English muffin
¼ cup low-fat cottage cheese
2 slices tomato
¼ avocado
1 tbsp. spicy brown mustard
1 leaf butter lettuce
1 tbsp. chopped chives
Garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste

Crunchy Tuna Wrap

1 whole wheat wrap
3 oz. drained canned tuna
¼ cup non-fat Greek yogurt
½ celery stalk, chopped
3 slices roasted red peppers
1 handful of baby spinach
1 squeeze of lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste.

Turkey Wrap

1 whole wheat wrap
3 slices deli turkey
2 tbsp. hummus
1 tbsp. goat cheese
1 handful baby spinach

Spicy Black Bean Burrito

1 whole wheat wrap
¼ cup black beans
¼ avocado
¼ small red onion, sliced
1 tsp. hot sauce
¼ cup salsa (optional)

Roast Beef and Horseradish Sandwich

2 slices whole wheat bread
2 slices deli roast beef
1 thick slice fresh mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp. horseradish sauce
1 leaf romaine lettuce

Tarragon Chicken Salad

1 cup spinach
½ a chicken breast, sliced
¼ cup Greek yogurt
¼ cup chopped walnuts
¼ dried cranberries
1 stalk celery, chopped
2 slices tomato
1 tbsp. fresh tarragon chopped
1 squeeze of lemon juice

Snacks

It’s the time of day when you begin eyeing the stale morning donuts and cookie tray, desperate to fix your crashing sugar levels. Fear not! Here are some delicious snacks that will help get you through the rest of your day.
